Terms & Conditions

1. About TapAI

TapAI is a digital networking platform that enables users to create and maintain a professional digital profile and share it using a physical NFC card, QR code, web link, email signature, and other supported sharing methods.

TapAI may also enable users to display professional and business information, receive contact details from others through Share My Details, access captured contacts through the TapAI backend or CRM, edit and manage profile information, and access additional networking, contact-management, AI-enabled, or other features introduced from time to time.

TapAI combines a physical NFC card, a public digital profile, and optional paid backend functionality.

2. Eligibility

TapAI may be used by individuals, professionals, businesses, organisations, and teams for legitimate professional or business purposes.

You must be at least 18 years of age to create or operate a TapAI account.

By using TapAI, you confirm that you are legally capable of agreeing to these Terms, that information provided by you is accurate, that you will use TapAI lawfully, and that where you act on behalf of a business or organisation, you have the necessary authority to do so.

3. Business and Team Accounts

Businesses, teams, and organisations may purchase and manage multiple TapAI cards and profiles.

Where an administrator creates or manages profiles on behalf of employees, members, representatives, or other individuals, the administrator is responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary authority and permissions.

The organisation or administrator is responsible for maintaining accurate profile information, obtaining necessary permissions, managing authorised access, and ensuring that TapAI is used in accordance with these Terms.

4. TapAI Pricing Structure

TapAI currently consists of a one-time card purchase and optional monthly paid backend access.

4.1 One-Time Fee

The current one-time fee is ₹999.

The one-time payment provides:

  • The physical TapAI NFC card
  • Access to the associated public TapAI profile URL

Subject to these Terms, the physical card and public profile continue to remain available even if the user does not continue paying for monthly backend access.

4.2 Monthly Fee

The current monthly fee is ₹69 per month.

The monthly payment provides access to additional TapAI application functionality, which may include:

  • Profile editing and management
  • Backend and dashboard access
  • Access to captured contacts
  • CRM and contact-management functionality
  • Additional features introduced by TapAI in the future

Future features may include additional networking, AI-enabled, recommendation, matching, or contact-management functionality.

5. What Happens if the Monthly Fee Is Not Paid
There is no grace period for unpaid monthly backend access.

If the monthly fee is not paid:

  • The physical TapAI NFC card continues to work
  • The public TapAI profile URL remains available
  • Access to paid backend functionality becomes unavailable

Paid backend functionality may include profile editing, CRM access, viewing captured contacts, dashboard features, and other paid application functionality.

Stopping monthly payment does not, by itself, terminate the TapAI account or permanently delete the public profile.

6. Payments

Payments for TapAI are processed through Razorpay.

Users are responsible for providing accurate payment information and paying the charges displayed at the time of purchase.

Arissa may receive transaction-related information such as payment status, transaction reference, amount, payment date, and subscription status.

Payment-card or banking information processed directly by Razorpay is subject to Razorpay’s own terms, privacy practices, and security procedures.

7. Monthly Access and Discontinuation

The TapAI card and public profile form part of the one-time purchase.

Users who no longer wish to use paid backend functionality may stop future monthly payments through the payment or subscription mechanism provided for TapAI.

Once monthly access ends, the physical card and public profile continue to remain available, while paid backend functionality becomes unavailable.

Payments already made are subject to the separate Refund & Cancellation Policy.

8. Card Design and Production

Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving their TapAI card design before production.

Once the final design has been approved and printing or production has begun, the customised TapAI card is treated as final.

Refund, replacement, and defective-card rules are set out in the separate Refund & Cancellation Policy.

9. NFC Card Defects and Replacement

TapAI does not provide an ongoing hardware warranty for NFC cards.

If an NFC card is found to be defective before it has been successfully used or scanned, Arissa may replace the card after verification.

A replacement will generally not apply where the card has previously worked successfully, has already been used or scanned, has been physically damaged, bent, broken, modified, mishandled, lost, or stolen, or where the issue arose after use began.

Arissa may review available technical or usage information when determining whether the card was previously functioning.

10. User Content

Members retain ownership of content they upload, submit, or publish through TapAI. This may include company logos, photographs, videos, profile text, brochures, PDFs, documents, business information, and other member-provided materials.

By uploading or publishing content through TapAI, the member grants Arissa International Pvt. Ltd. a non-exclusive, limited, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, process, display, and make the content available solely as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, and provide TapAI.

Members confirm that they own the content they upload or have all necessary rights, licences, and permissions to use and publish it.

11. TapAI Intellectual Property

TapAI and its underlying technology remain the property of Arissa International Pvt. Ltd.

This includes, where applicable, TapAI software, source code, platform architecture, interfaces, databases, systems, functionality, templates, designs, branding, trademarks, logos, and underlying technology.

Purchase of a TapAI card or payment for monthly access does not transfer ownership of the TapAI platform, application, technology, or intellectual property to the member.

The TapAI profile URL or slug is assigned for use through the platform and does not become property owned by the member.

12. Prohibited Content

Users must not upload, publish, transmit, or display content through TapAI that is illegal, defamatory, fraudulent, misleading, obscene, abusive, threatening, harmful, discriminatory, infringing, deceptive, malicious, in violation of privacy rights, in violation of intellectual-property rights, or otherwise unlawful.

Arissa reserves the right to remove, restrict, or disable access to content that violates these Terms.

13. Prohibited Use

TapAI must not be used for unlawful spam, harassment, fraud, impersonation, deceptive marketing, unlawful collection or processing of personal information, malicious activity, unauthorised system access, misuse of captured contacts, privacy violations, intellectual-property infringement, or any other unlawful activity.

Users must not interfere with the security, operation, integrity, or performance of TapAI.

14. Share My Details

TapAI allows profile visitors to voluntarily provide contact information through Share My Details.

Information submitted through this feature may be stored within the relevant member’s TapAI contact-management or CRM area.

Once a member receives contact information, that member is responsible for how the information is used.

Members agree to use captured contact information lawfully, comply with applicable privacy and data-protection requirements, obtain additional consent where required, and not use captured information for unlawful spam, harassment, fraud, deceptive communications, or unauthorised disclosure.

15. Member Responsibility for Personal Data

Members are responsible for their own use of personal information obtained through TapAI.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Arissa is not responsible for a member’s marketing activity, communications, data-management practices, use or misuse of captured contacts, unauthorised disclosure, unlawful processing, spam, harassment, or violations of privacy or data-protection requirements.

TapAI provides technology that facilitates contact exchange. TapAI does not control how a member subsequently chooses to use information received through the platform.

16. Suspension and Termination by Arissa

Arissa may suspend, restrict, or terminate a TapAI account where it reasonably believes that a user has breached these Terms, misused TapAI, engaged in fraud, unlawfully used personal information, violated privacy rights, infringed intellectual-property rights, uploaded prohibited content, engaged in spam or harassment, attempted to compromise TapAI systems, or otherwise used TapAI improperly or unlawfully.

Arissa may take action without prior notice where reasonably necessary to protect TapAI, its users, third parties, or the security and integrity of the platform.

17. Effect of Termination and Account Closure

Termination of a TapAI account is different from simply stopping monthly backend payments.

17.1 If Monthly Access Stops

If you stop paying the monthly backend fee:

  • Your physical TapAI card will continue to work
  • Your public TapAI profile will remain available
  • Paid backend functionality will become unavailable

This may include loss of access to profile editing, CRM functionality, captured contacts, dashboard functionality, and other paid services.

17.2 If You Request Account Closure

You may request permanent closure of your TapAI account by contacting Arissa using the details provided in Section 33.

Once an account-closure request has been processed:

  • Your TapAI profile may be deactivated
  • Your profile URL may no longer be accessible
  • Backend access will end
  • Access to captured contacts will end
  • Personal data associated with the account may be deleted in accordance with the TapAI Privacy Policy

Account closure is intended to be permanent and may not be reversible once deletion has been completed.

Arissa may require a reasonable period to verify and process the request and complete deletion from active systems. Certain information may continue to be retained where required by applicable law or in accordance with the retention provisions described in the Privacy Policy.

17.3 If Arissa Terminates the Account

If Arissa terminates an account in accordance with these Terms, the member may lose access to:

  • The public TapAI profile
  • The profile URL
  • Backend functionality
  • Captured contacts
  • Information stored within the TapAI account

Stored information may be deleted, retained, or otherwise handled in accordance with the TapAI Privacy Policy and applicable legal requirements.

18. Service Availability

TapAI is provided on an “as available” basis.

Arissa does not guarantee uninterrupted service, a specific uptime percentage, error-free operation, uninterrupted internet connectivity, continuous availability of third-party services, or compatibility with every device, browser, operating system, or NFC-enabled phone.

TapAI may become temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, technical issues, server problems, third-party failures, internet outages, security incidents, or circumstances outside Arissa’s reasonable control.

19. Future Features

TapAI may introduce additional functionality in the future, including AI-enabled tools, networking features, recommendations, matching functionality, contact-management tools, and other application features.

Future functionality may change, be withdrawn, remain under development, require monthly access, or be subject to additional terms.

References to planned or future functionality do not constitute a guarantee that any specific feature will be launched or remain available permanently.

20. Changes to Pricing, Features, and Services

Arissa reserves the right to change TapAI pricing, subscription charges, features, platform functionality, service structure, and other commercial terms.

Where reasonably appropriate, Arissa may notify affected users of material changes.

Continued use of the relevant TapAI services after revised terms or pricing become applicable may constitute acceptance of those revised terms.

21. Third-Party Services

TapAI may interact with or provide links to third-party services, including Razorpay, WhatsApp, social media platforms, mapping services, scheduling services, websites, and other external platforms.

These services are independently operated.

Arissa is not responsible for their availability, security, privacy practices, terms, content, functionality, or independent actions.

Use of third-party services is subject to the relevant provider’s own terms and policies.

22. Account Security

Users are responsible for protecting access to their TapAI account.

Users must keep account-access methods secure, prevent unauthorised use, maintain accurate account information, and promptly notify TapAI if they believe their account has been compromised.

Where TapAI uses email-code or passwordless authentication, users are responsible for maintaining control of the email account associated with TapAI.

23. Privacy

Use of TapAI is also subject to the TapAI Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains how TapAI collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal data.

24. Indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the member agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Arissa International Pvt. Ltd., TapAI, their directors, officers, employees, representatives, and authorised service providers and against claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, and reasonable expenses arising out of or relating to:

  • Misuse of TapAI
  • Unlawful or unauthorised use of personal information
  • Misuse of contacts obtained through Share My Details
  • Content uploaded or published by the member
  • Infringement of third-party intellectual-property rights
  • Violation of privacy rights
  • Unlawful spam or marketing
  • Fraud
  • Harassment
  • Breach of applicable law
  • Breach of these Terms

This clause applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

25. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Arissa International Pvt. Ltd. and TapAI will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or similar losses arising from or connected with TapAI.

This includes, without limitation:

  • Loss of profits
  • loss of revenue
  • Loss of business opportunities
  • loss of customers
  • Loss of goodwill
  • Business interruption
  • Loss or corruption of data
  • Missed networking opportunities
  • Losses arising from third-party services
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
26. No Guarantee of Business Results

TapAI provides networking, profile-sharing, and contact-management functionality.

Arissa does not guarantee that use of TapAI will result in leads, referrals, meetings, introductions, partnerships, customers, sales, revenue, business opportunities, or any particular commercial result.

Users remain responsible for their own networking, communications, marketing, sales, follow-up, and business decisions.

27. Refunds and Cancellations

Refund, cancellation, replacement, and card-production rules are governed by the separate TapAI Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Where there is any inconsistency between a general statement in these Terms and a specific refund or cancellation provision in that policy, the more specific provision will apply to the relevant refund or cancellation matter, subject to applicable law.

28. Changes to These Terms

Arissa may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to TapAI, pricing, functionality, operations, regulatory requirements, business practices, or applicable law.

The 29/09/2026 at the beginning of these Terms will indicate the most recent revision.

Where reasonably appropriate, Arissa may notify users of material changes.

29. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

30. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises in connection with TapAI or these Terms, the parties will first attempt to resolve the matter in good faith through negotiation.

If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, the parties may attempt to resolve it through mediation.

If the dispute remains unresolved, it may be referred to arbitration in accordance with applicable Indian arbitration law.

Unless otherwise agreed by the parties:

  • The arbitration will be conducted by a sole arbitrator
  • The seat and venue of arbitration will be Bengaluru, Karnataka, India
  • The arbitration proceedings will be conducted in English

Subject to the dispute-resolution provisions above, courts having jurisdiction in Bengaluru, Karnataka will have jurisdiction over matters arising from or relating to these Terms.

31. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

32. No Waiver

Failure by Arissa to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or of Arissa's right to enforce it in the future.
